Our Frameless Catarafts can be inflated in just 15 minutes and ready to navigate through any type of H20 surface, from calm to class 4 rapids. They are compact, lightweight and durable.
Cataraft with 2 main tubes (floats) and 3 inflatable cross-tubes (cross-bars).
Contour 4 is an inflatable catamaran with a raft seats. A very light model for 4 persons, yet very docile and manoeuvrable.
The main side tubes have diameter 50 cm and the bottom of the side tube is double protected, the additional layer of PVC 850 g/m2 is glued.
There are three inflatable beams, those make the construction rigid. The feet supports (loops for feet) are attached on the PVC deck with drops (self-bailing system). The seat fit is comfortable and secure thanks to the knee strap and footholds on the deck.
There are pressure relief valves on every inflatable element for protection the boat from high pressure in a hot summer day.
A distinctive feature of catamarans with an inflatable frame is the uniform distribution of the impact force when hitting an obstacle. Thanks to the built-in bleed valves, excess pressure is vented upon impact, preventing damage ot the side tubes.
